That's what the announcer says when you've completed the following: 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run. And, it sends goosebumps up your body to see what these athletes have completed in one day. A HUGE congratulations to Amy on finishing her first IronMan on June 27 in Coeur D'Alene. We didn't make it there for the start at 6:30 am, but we were there at the finish line at 10:30 pm. Amazing!!! We're so proud of you, Auntie Amy, and what a perfect way for Eliana to meet her aunt for the first time than cheering you on at the race and then spending days recovering with you. You're an inspiration to us all, Amy!!
Eliana was Auntie's Biggest Fan
The pots and pans were Michelle Pickard's idea; she and Anna used them to cheer Amy, Nate and I on when we did our Half-Ironman at Lake Stevens in 2008 - it was the perfect cheering tool!
Just after the finish to congratulate Amy (and yes, it was totally dark - what a long day of racing)
Taking some photos the next day in daylight - again, Congrats to Amy. We are so proud of you and love you so much!
