Tiny Tots

The Seattle symphony puts on an amazing show for kids. Before each show, they are able to play instruments and meet symphony members. It's such a great way to expose kids to music and watch their wonder in all the ways it can sound. And during the show, they get to participate by clapping and singing.here is a video of Eliana trying the violin.

Ethan - 9 months

Stats:
20 lbs 10 oz (64% tile).
Eliana was 18.5 lbs at her 9-month

28" tall (36% tile)

46 cm Head circ (76% tile)

Two bottom teeth through, top two are coming in:)

New tricks:
1. Army crawling
2. Transitioning from sitting to crawling
3. Self feeding for finger food
4. Sippy cup (today for the first time, figured out the spout, I think)
5. Side pose (so funny)!

Likes/Dislikes:
1. Daddy coming home gives Ethan a super smile
2. Eliana's voice and her still make him smile despite lots of toy stealing on her end.
3. Loves exer saucer still, but not as much as before and compared to exploring the house via army crawl
4. Loves other babies
5. LOVES the bath. He goes crazy and instead of it calming him (he's already calm all the time), it makes him burst out splashing. So fun to watch.
6. Infatuated with knobs, tags, wires:)
7. At first, he did not like finger goods, but just yesterday he preferred to not be spoon fed.
8. Still thumb sucking, too:)

Actually, I can't think of any dislikes. He's such a happy, mellow baby; hardly cries and is content in any situation. No stranger anxiety or years there.

Schedule:
Two naps a day, one usually around 9am and one at 1 pm, much longer mapper than Eliana ever was; usually 1-2 hours/nap. But he is an early riser, usually at 6:00 or 6:30. Can't complain, though, this little man puts up with anything especially all the crazy big sister antics.
