Drew is beginning to pick up the crazy physical traits of older brother, but don't worry, he has a long way to go.
-He sits and is about 95% successful without rocking back (thank you, carpet and Boppy for catching him)
-He's over the activity gym and even the Exersaucer and wants to be in the thick of the real toys with big bro and sis. He loves the big lego bin, trucks, a musical ball that also has a mirror, shoes on the floor, the remote, books and paper
- He still prefers to look at faces and smile but it starting to develop opinions about what he wants and how frustrated he is when he can't grab exactly what he wants
- He is still a very sweet, mellow, even-tempered baby, and such a joy to be around
- He loves when big brother gives him "morning bounces" in his crib and loves all the crazy jumping and tricks he gets to watch big brother do around him.
- Loves when Eliana reads to him and picks him up like a little doll
- Loves bath time
- One day after turning 7 months, he started army crawling
- Loves to give Daddy big smiles when Daddy comes home from work
- Will now occasionally take the bottle (about 2 oz/time)
- Loves steamed carrots, broccoli, almond butter on bagel, blueberries, pasta with meat sauce
- Doesn't really cry unless super tired or frustrated
- Spends days with mom and Ethan (Tues/Thurs) at the park, running around the backyard or being carted to the activities of big bro and sis
- Loves his baby swing in the backyard
- Takes 2-3 naps/day. He usually takes a longer morning nap and can hardly make it to 7:00 before getting super sleepy
- Is a joyful, fun baby....we feel so blessed

Drew - 6 months
How does time go so fast? I was just looking back through Drew's newborn photos and that only seems like days ago. He continues to bless us with his happy-go-lucky attitude and huge smiles. He is a true delight of a baby and I feel so lucky to have all this time with him.
At 6 months:
- Drew has started finger foods (avocado, banana, steamed carrots and pears). He gets very little in his mouth, but loves to sit at the table and work very hard at picking his food up from his tray. He's so tickled to watch his big brother and big sister at the table.
- Had a bottle break-through tonight with Nate. Took 0.5 ounces in his quiet room without brother and sister around. Before this, we can count on one hand how many times he's taken the bottle.
- Still loves to take short naps. He can nap anywhere. In his crib, in the Ergo, in the stroller at the gym, in the car....maybe he knows he has to be flexible already:)
- Rolls around on the floor and is most interested in the non-baby toys (Magna tiles, big Duplos, Ethan's trucks, etc).
- Has rocked back and forth on all fours 2-3 times (yikes, not yet!!)
- Hasn't quite taken any water yet (although we have tried out of a sippy cup)
- Loves his morning crib bounces, thanks to Ethan
- Loves reading with big sis
- Loves his favorite song, "You are my Sunshine"
- Loves tickles right on his armpits
- Smiles at everyone and will still go to others to be held without fussing for Mommy
- Loves his baths
- Burrows in mommy's shoulders when hungry

Drew at 5 months:
- Rolls from back to front and front to back
- Smiles at everyone and everyone he sees. No stranger danger yet.
- Loves Eliana, especially when she reads and sings to him (and Mommy loves that too because that means I can get dinner on the table).
- Starting to get opinionated about wanting to grab certain toys and when he gets sleepy. Definite clear cries and grunts for milk, toys, sleepy time.
- Easily holds and transfers things from hand to hand.
- Watches us eat and drink (but haven't started solid foods yet)
- Nurses to sleep mostly, but some success with falling asleep when drowsy.
- No specific schedule, mostly naps 30 min at a time, about 4 times a day (and mostly on the go thanks to two older siblings).
- Still loves to be sung to ('You are my sunshine' makes him light up extra big)
- Loves the bath and is trying to roll himself into it from his bath chair
- Gets extra crib buddies in the morning when he wakes up (aka brother and sister)
- Loves to spin around and do "Noble Duke of York"
- Loves to put everything in his mouth....definitely teething and drooling
- Still spitting up like a champ
- Starting to sit up, but still needs assistance

Drew at 4 months
Even though Drew is almost 5 months, capturing some of his 4-month characteristics.
At 4 months, Drew:
- Weight is 17 lbs 9 oz (90% tile)
- Height is 26.25 in (90% tile)
- Head circumference 17 in (90% tile)
He is massive compared to Eliana and Ethan at his age! Eliana was 14 lbs 12 oz at her 4-month check up. It's insane how big Drew is!
- Drew still smiles at everyone he sees and everything he sees, including lights, walls, bright colors. He is the happiest baby.
- He puts everything into his mouth, including fingers (ours and his)
- He loves Eliana. Ethan is a close second.
- He loves his room and still does well sleeping (keep knocking on wood).
- He does not like the car, especially at night time. "You are my Sunshine" keeps him mildly happy while getting fussy during car rides.
- He spent a good portion of his June/July outside camping, swimming with older kids and under his beach tent. He managed to not get the crazy stomach virus that landed 3 of the 5 Snodgrass family members in the San Juan island ER.
- He does just fine at the gym daycare. I wouldn't have dared take Eliana somewhere like that before she was one. Drew loves it and sleeps soundly in the swing while Mommy does a quick workout or yoga.
- No rolling yet.
- Lots of screeching and squealing at things and people.
- Flat head is almost all gone, looking so much better. Still using a pillow in car seat and crib to help, but those will be ditched soon enough.
- Loves to stand up on your legs or counters, loves using all his baby fat legs to help him hold his head up:)

Drew at 3 months
Before time gets away from me and I have forgotten it all, I'm going to capture some memories here. Pictures to come soon.
Some of Drew's latest likes/dislikes:
- Always smiling, full body smile. Especially in the morning when I come to the crib to get him. Melts my heart.
- Loves his big sis, may in fact be his favorite person as she reads to him, does tummy time with him and helps me play with him while I get dishes and other "fun" household chores done
- Can sort of grab things now. Still trying to figure out how to get his hands in his mouth and hasn't quite yet figured out how to suck his thumb.
- Loves his activity mat and grabbing the little rocket ship.
- Loves airplane and other games where he gets thrown up in the air.
- Loves his bath and hardly fits in the little one.
- Spits up all the time, guaranteed. I can't walk out of the house without it on me:)
- Still doing great at sleeping (knock on wood).
- Toritcollis and slight flat head is looking better every day. Doesn't favor right side as much and his right side of his head is almost back to normal curvature.
- Still an easy-going, flexible, mellow, baby that is so happy about most things.
