Surprises

Yesterday when friends were leaving our house, one of them asked Eliana if he could borrow something.  Ethan let him borrow his Lightning McQueen, and then one of Eliana's best friends asked to borrow her second favorite stuffed animal, Perrita, the unicorn.  She said, "Yes, Katherine you can borrow it for two days."  After asking multiple times to clarify, she kept saying, "yes."  What a proud moment to see sharing in the best form.  Especially after a rough morning or uncooperative behavior when we gave up and cancelled a family outing because her behavior was so poor.  It's the small and pleasant surprises in life that bring joy.
