Sorry for the overload of videos, but this is for all the family and loved ones who aren't here to see the day-to-day progress of Elle Belle learning how to walk. I never knew how much fun it would be to watch, especially today with her little tutu on (thanks, Auntie Amy!)....who could resist videotaping this? We love you, Pumpkin!

Walking
Just an hour after her first steps at the rental car return in Mexico. Taking a few steps at a time.
5 days after her first steps. It is so fun to see how proud she is of herself (and of course, we are too!!)

First Steps
In Mexico on March 22, eating lunch before taking off back to the US and Eliana got down and was cruising along chairs outside at the restaurant. She let go, paused, took one step, paused and two more steps. I'll post pictures later, but we're so proud of you, Elle Belle. The best was her face and how proud she was the rest of the day. We love you!

First time in Sunny San Diego
We went down to San Diego to visit Eliana's Nonna and Grandpa the first weekend in March. It was the perfect weekend with nice weather and lots of fun activities: lunch at Seaport Village and walk to Little Italy, a run on the water, brunch at Los Quatros Milpas, a trip to the zoo and two carousel rides. Thanks for so much fun, Grandpa and Nonna. Eliana can't wait to visit again!
Listening to the live music at Seaport Village on Sunday
Dancing to the mariachi music
Ladies' ride on the carousel
Besides signing, "all done", Eliana's other favorite is to wave.
Nonna, can I move to San Diego and eat al fresco every day?
Eating mangoes with Nonna
Oh, Chance, you make my day...
Grandpa, Nonna and Eliana at the San Diego Zoo on a sunny March Saturday
This orangutan was out in full effect, turning around to come face-to-face, making her giggle
I love this picture. The elephants, lions, crocs, giraffes, etc. could not hold a candle to the tapir that Eliana got to see up close; just a piece of glass separating her from petting it. We all joked that that was the tapir's best day of his/her life because of Eliana.
Nonna, Grandpa, Eliana and Daddy at the elephant exhibit
Koala watching
Eliana at the petting zoo; didn't really think the goats were that great
Thanks to Nonna, Eliana got to indulge in Los Quatros Milpas, the best Mexican food in town. We went there a few years back and had been begging to go back ever since.
Waiting to indulge in the chorizo heaven, including a scrupmtious tamale
Getting up to the counter only took about 20 minutes this time; some days it's much longer....totally worth the wait at this place!
Grandpa was quite creative with his improvised rubber ducky (I mean rubber glove); Elle Belle loved it just the same
We spent the weekend basking in the sun and watching Eliana chase after Chance the dog on the patio; she was in dog heaven
Grandpa took Friday off to spend with us and Eliana loved it. Here's the 3 generations.

On the carousel with Daddy and Grandpa Snodgrass
If only the sundress season in Seattle were longer....it's just too easy to find cute dresses
